Mike Vanek Sucks The Blog: A look at Inhuman Condition “Rat God” By Mike Vanek  In my never-ending mission to bring you quality metal, I submit for your approval “Rat God” by Inhuman condition. Comprising of bassist & Florida Death Metal legend Terry Butler (Obituary, DEATH, Massacre, Six Feet Under) who has teamed up with fellow former Massacre bandmates Jeremy Kling (Venom Inc, The Absence, Goregäng) on drums/vocals and guitarist Taylor Nordberg to form masterfully crafted album brings a whole new level of heavy. This album hits like a cement truck and has riffs that will have you bobbing your head to the groove to instantly breaking your neck from banging to these epic death metal licks. “Rat God” is everything you want in a death metal record with its crushing vocals to the absolute tightness of the band. Inhuman Condition brings a comforting familiarity to their music that takes you back to a place when Death Metal from Florida was king with blistering solos mat

Mike Vanek Sucks The Blog… A look at CueStack “Diagnosis Human" By Mike Vanek In my never-ending quest to bring you good music today, I bring you the Austrian Industrial metal act Cuttack. Comprised of Eccentric lighting/VFX designer Martin Kames and shred guitar content creator Bernth Brodträger this duo this duo mixes industrial, metal, and cyberpunk with visual artistry that can’t be matched. Plus they made a metal album with David Hasselhoff and I don’t care what you say that’s just cool… CueStack’s latest album entitled “Diagnosis Human” is an atmospheric sensory overload in the most epic of ways that takes you to the outermost reaches of the mind. With 11 tracks this Austrian duo takes you on an audiovisual voyage that takes you to a land of Industrial metal/Cyberpunk mastery and every song is a banger but the visual elements are just as important as the music so I highly encourage you to check out the videos that accompany this epic record… Also, the visuals available

#MIKEVANEKSUCKS The Blog:  Live Stream Review, Philip H Anselmo & The Illegals “A VULGAR DISPLAY OF PANTERA”  By Mike Vanek First of all, I don’t subscribe to any anti-Phil or anti-Pantera Bullshit if you have a problem don’t read my fucking blog... Over the last 2 years, the only way for artists to get out and play for their fans has been through the medium of the live stream. Several bands have done it successfully including several projects headed by one Phil Anselmo formerly of the legendary PANTERA!! When I saw the announcement that his band PHILIP H ANSELMO & THE ILLEGALS were going to be live-streaming the Pantera set they toured on before the Pandemic hit I literally jumped outta my chair to order the stream!! Phil Anselmo has been my absolute hero since I was 15 years old hanging out with my best friend Travis Brooks at his moms' house. We worshipped anything PANTERA from the records, live shows, & home videos we absolutely consumed all of it. Sadly there is no

#MIKEVANEKSUCKS The Blog:  A look at Internal Bleeding  By Mike Vanek It’s not every day you get to write about a band that pretty much created a genre of music, let alone one of the coolest bands of all time... In the world of death metal and slam it’s hard not to like the mighty Internal Bleeding... Now before I write this a word of thanks... I just went through one of the worst times of my life right smack in the middle of doing the research for this blog and I took a week off... Watching I.B’s Smoke Sesh videos and listening to the band's latest album on Spotify really helped me get through some of the darkest days of my life and I thank them for that...  When I started getting into the extreme metal scene at The Workshop in Ceres California, Internal Bleeding is a band I heard a lot about and I would check em out on YouTube from time to time, and of course, they would be on my Spotify radar when that came to be and of course, I listened to everything I could researching this
